6 AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING $1,000,000 FROM THE
7 GENERAL FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 1998-99 TO THE DEPARTMENT OF
8 TRANSPORTATION FOR DUMP SITE CLEANUP; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
9 DATE.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 This act enacts uncodified material.
12 Section 1. Appropriation.
13 (1) There is appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal year 1998-99, $1,000,000 to the
14 Department of Transportation.
15 (2) It is the intent of the Legislature that this appropriation shall be used for the cleanup
16 of the Department of Transportation's dump site at approximately 6200 South and 3200 West in
17 Salt Lake County.
18 (3) The money appropriated in Subsection (1) is nonlapsing.
19 Section 2. Effective date.
20 This act takes effect on July 1, 1998.
