RESOLUTION PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO SERIOUSLY IMPACTED BUSINESSES

Representative Jones proposes the following amendments:
1. Page 1, Line 21: After line 21, insert "WHEREAS building vacancies may have occurred because of restricted access to those buildings; WHEREAS increased leasing of building space in the area at a minimum may stabilize the real estate market in areas impacted by major highway construction;"
2. Page 2, Line 9 After line 9 insert "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Division of Facilities Construction and Management whenever practicable give consideration to leasing from seriously impacted businesses when leasing space to be occupied or used by state agencies."
3. Page 2, Line 11 After "Board" delete "and" and insert "," and after "officer" insert ", and the Division of Facilities Construction and Management"
