                  AN ACT RELATING TO STATE OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES; REPEALING PROVISIONS
                  RELATING TO SPECIAL POLICE.
                  This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:

                  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
                      Section 1. Repealer.
                      This act repeals:


                      Section 67-12-1, Declaration of public policy.
                      Section 67-12-2, Appointment of special policemen -- Application.
                      Section 67-12-3, Qualifications -- To be investigated -- Certificate -- Oath.
                      Section 67-12-4, Powers and duties.
                      Section 67-12-5, Employee of state -- Liability for acts or omissions.
                      Section 67-12-6, Termination or revocation of appointment -- Criminal penalties for
                  exercise of powers after revocation.
                      Section 67-12-7, Rules and regulations.
                      Section 67-12-8, Additional safeguards and protection of property.
                      Section 67-12-9, Appointment upon application of state governor.
                      Section 67-12-10, Application forms -- Contents.
                      Section 67-12-11, Certificate of appointment to be issued.
                      Section 67-12-12, Special policemen must be approved -- Oath.
                      Section 67-12-13, Powers and duties.
                      Section 67-12-14, Employee of state or other political entity -- Compensation.
                      Section 67-12-15, Liability for acts or omissions.
                      Section 67-12-16, Termination or revocation of appointment -- Criminal penalty for
                  exercise of powers after revocation.
