APPROPRIATION FOR PURCHASE OF
2 FREEDOM SHRINE DOCUMENTS
3 2000 GENERAL SESSION

6 AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING $19,814 TO THE CITY OF
7 TAYLORSVILLE FOR THE PURCHASE OF FREEDOM SHRINE DOCUMENTS; AND
8 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
9 This act enacts uncodified material.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Appropriation.
12 (1) There is appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal year 2000-01, $19,814 to the
13 city of Taylorsville to purchase Freedom Shrine documents to be included in the proposed
14 Freedom Shrine adjacent to the Jordan River Parkway in Salt Lake County, to help fulfill the
15 statewide public purpose of providing public facilities that preserve and express our country's
16 heritage of freedom.
17 (2) The money appropriated under Subsection (1) is nonlapsing.
18 Section 2. Effective date.
19 This act takes effect on July 1, 2000.
