EIGHT HOUR WORK DAY AMENDMENTS

                  This act repeals the requirement that workers in certain industries may not work more than
                  eight hours in a day.
                  This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
                  REPEALS:
                      34-21-2, as last amended by Chapter 375, Laws of Utah 1997
                  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
                      Section 1. Repealer.
                      This act repeals:
                      Section 34-21-2, Eight-hour day -- Smelters, mines, and related industries --
                  Exceptions.
