MOTION: Rep. Allen moved to adopt 1st Sub. H.B. 134, Unauthorized Electronic Transactions (A. L. Tyler)
The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Bennion, Rep. Hutchings, and Rep. McCartney absent for the vote.
Rep. Tyler introduced the bill and explained it to the committee.
Mr. Howard Headlee, Utah Bankers Association, spoke to the bill.
The following people spoke in opposition to the bill:

MOTION: Rep. Bennion moved to return the bill to Rules and have it placed on an interim study list and assigned to the Business and Labor Interim Study Committee.
The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Goodfellow and Rep. McCartney
absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Allen moved to pass the bill out favorably.

MOTION: Rep. Urquhart moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed with Rep. Allen voting in opposition.
