Sen. Stephenson called the meeting to order at 8:25 a.m.
    
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

1.     S. B. REDEVELOPMENT AGENCIES - EXEMPTIONS FOR SCHOOL PROPERTY TAXES ( Sen. Leonard Blackham)

    
At the request of the sponsor the bill was not considered.


2.     S.B. 74 AMENDMENTS TO INTERLOCAL COOPERATION ACT (Sen. D. Gladwell)

    
Sen. Gladwell presented the bill to the committee.

    


    Gary McKean, Deputy Davis County Attorney and Brent Gardner, Utah Association of Counties spoke to the bill.

Chair C. Bramble assumed the chair.

    MOTION: Sen. Bell moved to pass S. B. 74 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
    
    The motion passed unanimously.

3.     H. B. 87 PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENT OF LOW - INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDITS AND LOW - INCOME HOUSING COVENANTS (Rep. G. Snow)

    
Rep. Snow presented the bill to the committee.

    Bill Erickson, Director, Utah Housing Finance Corporation, spoke in favor of the bill.

    Nancy Feiderer, Carbon County Assessor; Blaine Hales, Appraiser, MCAT, and Kathleen C. Howell, Cache County Assessor spoke against the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Stephenson moved to adjourn.

    The motion passed with Sen. Bell, Sen. Dmitrich and Sen. Gladwell absent at the time of the vote.

    Chair Bramble adjourned the meeting at 10:05 a.m.
