21 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
22 Section 1. Section 17-50-501 is amended to read:
23 17-50-501. Classification of counties.
24 (1) Each county shall be classified according to its population.
25 (2) (a) A county with a population of 700,000 or more is a county of the first class.
26 (b) A county with a population of H [
