Rep. Hutchings called the meeting to order at 9:05 a.m.
Rep. Hutchings announced that H.B. 206 would not be considered at this meeting.
H.B. 67 Cultural Affairs Task Force (Rep. S. Allen)
Rep. Allen introduced H.B. 67 and explained it to the committee. She was assisted by Frank McEntire, Executive Director, Utah Arts Council. Rep. Allen distributed a handout to committee members.
Spoke in favor of the bill: John T. Nielsen, Utah Arts Council
MOTION: Rep. Ferrin moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Rep. Hendrickson moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 9:29 a.m.
