Sen. J. Evans called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m.

MOTION TO APPROVE MINUTES:

    MOTION: Sen. Jenkins moved to approve the minutes of February 16, 2004 and to correct the minutes of February 12, 2004 to show that he was present for the vote on S.B. 214 and voted yes.
    
    The motion passed unanimously.

     MOTION: Sen. Jenkins moved to amend 1st Sub. H. B. 54 as follows:

  Section 2. Effective Date.

This act takes effect July 1, 2004.  


    The motion passed unanimously.

    The meeting was dismissed and the building was evacuated due to a bomb threat.
