Sen. Bell, acting Committee Chair, called the meeting to order at 4:12 p.m.

     MOTION: Sen. Allen moved to approve the minutes of the Feb.18, 2005 meeting.

    The motion passed unanimously.

1.    S.B. 186 Child Welfare Removal - Adoption Option (P. Hellewell)

    This item was not considered.

2.    H.B. 0079 Provision of Services for People with Disabilities (R. Lockhart)

    Rep. Lockhart explained the bill.

    Joyce Dolcourt, Dir.of Government Affairs, LCPD/Arc of Utah spoke in support of the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Allen moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously.

3.    H.B. 0080 Services for People with Disabilities (R. Lockhart)


    
    Rep. Lockhart explained the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. McCoy moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously.

4.    H.B. 243 Repeal of Geriatric Care Manager (L. Lockhart)

    Rep. Lockhart explained the bill.

     MOTION: Sen. Allen moved to pass the bill with a favorable recommendation.

    The motion passed unanimously.

5.    H.B. 42S01 Medical Recommendations for Children (M. Morley)

    This item was not considered.

     MOTION: Sen. McCoy moved to adjourn.

    The motion passed unanimously.

Sen. Bell adjourned the meeting at 4:18 p.m.
