Chair Bramble called the meeting to order at 9:10 a.m.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
MOTION: Sen. Dmitrich moved to approve the minutes of February 7, 2005.
The motion passed unanimously.
1. S.B. 164 INDIVIDUAL INCOME TAX - SUBTRACTION FOR LIVE ORGAN DONATION EXPENSES (Sen. K. Hale)
Sen. Hale presented the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Sen. Dmitrich moved to substitute S.B. 164 with 1st Sub. S.B. 164.
The motion passed unanimously.
Palmer DePaulis, Utah State Tax Commission, spoke to the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Dmitrich moved to pass 1st Sub. S.B. 164 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
2. S.B. 195 TAX REVISIONS (Sen. C. Bramble)
S.B. 195 was not considered.
MOTION: Sen. Allen moved to adjourn.
The motion passed unanimously.
Sen. Bramble adjourned the meeting at 9:18 a.m.
