Committee Chair Killpack called the meeting to order at 9:35 a.m.
Approval of Minutes
MOTION: Sen. Walker moved to approve the minutes of February 8, 2006.
The motion passed unanimously.
1. H.B. 238 Authorizing Temporary Road Closures (M. Noel)
Rep. Noel presented the bill.
Brad Shafer, Utah Association of Counties, and Wayne Jones, Director, Power Sport Dealers Association, spoke in support of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Bramble moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously.
2. 1st Sub. H.B. 283 Motor Vehicle Business Regulation Amendments (P. Painter)
Rep. Painter presented the bill.
Wayne Jones, Independent Auto Dealers Association, was present in support of the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Walker moved to pass the bill out favorably.
The motion passed unanimously.
MOTION: Sen. Bramble moved to adjourn.
The motion passed unanimously.
