8 LONG TITLE
9 General Description:
10 This bill supplements or reduces appropriations previously provided for the use and
11 operation of state government for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007.
12 Highlighted Provisions:
13 This bill:
14 . provides budget increases and decreases for the use and support of certain state agencies;
15 . appropriates funds to provide Medicaid coverage for emergency dental services for the
16 aged, blind, and disabled.
17 Monies Appropriated in this Bill:
18 This bill appropriates for fiscal year 2007:
19 . $6,800,000 from various sources as detailed in this bill.
20 Other Special Clauses:
21 If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, this bill takes effect July
22 1, 2006.

26 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
27 Section 1. Under the terms and conditions of Section 63-38-3, the following sums of money
28 are appropriated from resources not otherwise appropriated, or reduced from amounts previously
29 appropriated, out of the funds or fund accounts indicated for the use and support of the government
30 of the State of Utah for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007. This is an
31 addition to or a subtraction from amounts previously appropriated for fiscal year 2007.

39 The Legislature intends that the funds appropriated by this
40 item be used to provide Medicaid coverage for emergency
41 dental services to the aged, blind, and disabled.
42 Section 2. Effective Date.
43 If approved by two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, this bill takes effect July
44 1, 2006.
