Sen. Knudson called the meeting to order at 2:18 p.m.
1. S.B. 38 -- Restrictions on High Occupancy Vehicle Lane
MOTION: Sen. Goodfellow moved to adopt Amendment 1 to S.B. 38.
The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Mayne absent for the vote.
Sen. Morgan introduced and explained the bill as amended.
Carlos Braceras, Deputy Director, Department of Public Transportation spoke against the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Goodfellow moved to pass S.B. 38 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed with Sens. Stevenson, Goodfellow and Mayne voting in favor, Sens. Knudson and VanTassell voting in opposition, and Sen. Hinkins absent for the vote.
2. S.B. 82 -- Passenger Ropeway Systems Act Amendments
Sen. Christensen introduced and explained the bill.
MOTION: Sen. VanTassell moved to pass S.B. 82 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously with Sen Hinkins absent for the vote.
MOTION: Sen. VanTassell moved to adjourn.
The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Hinkins absent for the vote.
Sen Knudson adjourned the meeting at 3:01 p.m.
