Vice Chair Pitcher called the meeting to order at 2:07 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Duckworth moved to approve the minutes of the February 7, 2013 meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

S.B. 142    Repeal of Blacklisting Provisions (Sen. D. Thatcher)

Sen. Thatcher explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Anderson moved to transmit S.B. 142 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 303    Trust Deed Assignment Amendments (Rep. R. C. Webb)

Rep. Webb explained the bill to the committee.


MOTION:    Rep. Froerer moved to transmit H.B. 303 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Wilson moved to place H.B. 303 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

1st Sub. S.B. 41    Uniform Commercial Code Amendments (Sen. L. Hillyard)

Sen. Hillyard explained the bill to the committee assisted by Rep. V. Lowry Snow.

MOTION:    Rep. Anderegg moved to transmit 1st Sub. S.B. 41 with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dunnigan absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Cox moved to place 1st Sub S.B. 41 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dunnigan absent for the vote.

S.B. 150    Financial Institution Amendments (Sen. J. S. Adams)

This bill was not heard.

MOTION:    Rep. Bird moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Froerer, Rep. Layton, Rep. Peterson, Rep. Wiley, Rep. Wilson, and Rep. Dunnigan absent for the vote.

Vice Chair Pitcher adjourned the meeting at 2:34 p.m.
