Section 6. Coordinating H.B. 240 with H.B. 218 -- Substantively superseding
amendments.
If this H.B. 240 and H.B. 218, Alcohol Amendments, both pass and become law, the
Legislature intends that the Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel, in
preparing the Utah Code database for publication do the following:
(1) have the amendments in this H.B. 240 to Subsection 32B-6-205(8)(a) supersede the
amendments to Subsection 32B-6-205(8)(a) in H.B. 218;
(2) have the amendments in this H.B. 240 to Subsection 32B-6-305(8)(a) supersede the
amendments to Subsection 32B-6-305(8)(a) in H.B. 218; and
(3) have the amendments in this H.B. 240 to Subsection 32B-6-905(8)(a) supersede the
amendments to Subsection 32B-6-905(8)(a) in H.B. 218.
The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Brown and Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.

with Rep. Wilson voting in opposition and Rep. Brown and Rep. Cox absent for the vote.
H.B. 347 Landowner Liability Amendments (Rep. B. Wilson)
Rep. Wilson explained the bill to the committee assisted by Chris Purcell, house counsel for
State Farm Insurance. Bruce Jones, UTA counsel, spoke for the bill and Roger Griffin, Utah
Association for Justice, spoke to the bill.
MOTION: Rep. Froerer moved to transmit H.B. 347 with a favorable recommendation. The
motion passed unanimously with Rep. Anderson, Rep. Brown, and Rep. Cox absent for the vote.
H.B. 75 Occupational and Professional Licensing Amendments (Rep. B. Greene)
