Chair Draxler called the meeting to order at 4:17 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Perry moved to approve the minutes of the March 1, 2013 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Noel absent for the vote.

H.B. 366    State House Boundary Amendments (Rep. B. Dee)

Rep. Dee introduced the bill to the committee. A handout was provided to committee members.

MOTION:    Rep. Grover moved to pass H.B. 366 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Noel absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Grover moved to place H.B. 366 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Noel absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Draxler moved to amend the bill as follows:

Page 4, Line 117:    Delete "third degree felony" and insert "class A misdemeanor"

The motion to amend the bill passed unanimously with Rep. Fisher and Rep. Perry absent for the vote.

SUBSTITUTE
MOTION:    Rep. Chavez-Houck moved to pass H.B. 368 out favorably. The motion failed with Rep. Chavez-Houck and Rep. Draxler voting in favor of the motion. Rep. Fisher and Rep. Perry were absent for the vote.

The original motion to pass the bill out favorably passed unanimously with Rep. Fisher and Rep. Perry absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Grover moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Fisher and Rep. Perry absent for the vote.
