Vice Chair Sagers called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. McKell moved to approve the minutes of Feb. 4, 2013. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Draxler, Rep. Edwards, Rep. Ivory, and Rep. Wilcox absent for the vote.

H.B. 90    Fishing License Waiver Amendments (Rep. R. Chavez-Houck)

Rep. Chavez-Houck introduced the bill with the assistance of Ms. Robin Cahoon, Utah Division of Wildlife Resources.





MOTION:    Rep. Briscoe moved to amend the bill as follows:

2, Lines 28 through 32

             28          (a) "School" means an elementary school or a secondary school that:
             29          (i) is a public or private school
  located in the state       ; and

             30          (ii) provides student instruction for one or more years of kindergarten through grade 9.
             31          (b) "Youth organization" means
  a local Utah chapter of       :

             32          [(a)] (i) the Boy Scouts of America;

The motion to amend passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Wiley moved to place HB90 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Rep. Handy moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
