Vice Chair Handy called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m.

After welcoming committee members and staff, Rep. Handy asked the committee members to introduce themselves and tell what district they represent.


H.B. 60    Utility Facility Siting (Rep. D. Sagers)

Rep. Sagers introduced the bill to the committee, assisted by Roger Tew, Utah League of Cities and Towns.

MOTION:    Rep. Hemingway moved to pass H.B. 60 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.


H.B. 284    Net Metering Billing Cycles (Rep. K. Stratton)

Rep. Stratton introduced the bill to the committee. He was assisted by the following:
