Chair Wilcox called the meeting to order at 2:04 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Sagers moved to approve the minutes of Feb. 4, 2013. The motion passed
unanimously with Rep. Brown, Rep. Cosgrove, Rep. Froerer, Rep. Gibson,
Rep. Hutchings, Rep. King, and Rep. Stanard absent for the vote.
H.B. 246 Expanded Uses of School District Property Tax Revenue (Rep. K. McIff)
Rep. McIff introduced the bill to the committee with the assistance of Ms. Angela Oakes Stallings,
Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel and Mr. Bruce Williams, Associate
Superintendent, Utah State Office of Education.

Rep. Tanner, Rep. Nielson, and Rep. Wilcox voting in opposition.
Rep. Nielson withdrew his motion.

Chair Wilcox adjourned the meeting at 4:02 p.m.
