Chair Osmond called the meeting to order at 4:06 p.m.
Approval of Minutes
MOTION: Sen. Reid moved to adopt the minutes of March 4, 2013. The motion passed
unanimously with Sens. Knudson and Stevenson absent for the vote.
1st Sub. S.B. 177 Highway Designation Amendments (S Reid)
Sen. Reid introduced and explained the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Reid moved to transmit 1st Sub. S.B. 177 favorably. The motion passed
with Sen. Mayne voting in opposition to the bill and Sens. Knudson and Stevenson
absent for the vote.
S.B. 267 New Convention Hotel Development Incentive Act (J. S. Adams)
Sen. Adams introduced and explained the bill assisted by Jeff Sachs, Strategic Advisor Group.
MOTION: Sen. Stevenson moved to amend the bill as follows:

passed unanimously with Sens. Okerlund and Reid absent for the vote.
