Chair Vickers called the meeting to order at 8:07 a.m.
    
Approval of Minutes

MOTION:    Sen. Christensen moved to approve the minutes of Feb 27, 2013. The motion         passed unanimously with Sen. Robles and Sen. Thatcher absent for the vote.

S.B. 213    Employer Association Health Plan Amendments (P. Knudson)

Sen. Knudson presented the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Sen. Christensen moved to replace S.B. 213 with 1st Sub. S.B. 213, "Employer Association Health Plan Amendments." The motion passed unanimously with Sen. Robles and Sen. Thatcher absent for the vote.

MOTION:     Sen. Christensen moved to pass 1st Sub. S.B. 213 out favorably. The motion         passed unanimously.

S.B. 85    Community Health Worker Program (L. Robles)

MOTION:    
Sen. Robles moved to amend S.B. 85 as follows:


1.    Page 2, Lines 29 through 33 :    

             29      Money Appropriated in this Bill:
             30          This bill appropriates in fiscal year 2014:
             31          .    to the Department of Health - Disease Control and Prevention
  - Health Promotion       , as an ongoing

             32      appropriation:
             33              .    from the General Fund, $250,000.

2.    Page 4, Line 119 through Page 5, Line 128 :    

             119          Section 2. Appropriation.
             120          Under the terms and conditions of Title 63J, Chapter 1, Budgetary Procedures Act, for
             121      the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2013, and ending June 30, 2014, the following sums of money
             122      are appropriated from resources not otherwise appropriated, or reduced from amounts
             123      previously appropriated, out of the funds or accounts indicated. These sums of money are in
             124      addition to any amounts previously appropriated for fiscal year 2014.

        unanimously.
