Chair Vickers called the meeting to order at 4:17 p.m.

S.B. 259    Amendments to Disability Waiting List (A. Christensen)

Sen. Christensen presented the bill to the committee.

MOTION:     Sen. Robles moved to pass S.B. 259 out favorably. The motion passed
        unanimously.    

MOTION:    Sen. Christensen moved that S.B. 259 be placed on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

S.B. 268    Human Services Background Checks Amendments (A. Christensen)

Sen. Christensen presented the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Sen. Christensen moved to pass S.B. 268 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:     Sen. Thatcher moved that S.B. 268 be placed on the Consent Calendar. The

motion passed unanimously.

Chair Vickers turned the chair over to Sen. Thatcher.

S.B. 270    Controlled Substance Amendments (E. Vickers)

Chair Vickers presented the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Sen. Vickers moved to pass S.B. 270 out favorably. The motion passed     
        unanimously.

MOTION:    Sen. Shiozawa moved that S.B. 270 be placed on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

Sen. Thatcher returned the chair to Chair Vickers.

S.B. 255    Human Services Amendments (W. Harper)

Sen. Harper presented the bill to the committee.

Spoke in favor
of the bill:                Mr. Brent Platt, Division Director, Division of Child and Family Services, Department of Human Services

MOTION:    Sen. Christensen moved to pass S.B. 255 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously, with Sen. Thatcher absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Sen. Christensen moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
    
Chair Vickers adjourned the meeting at 4:44 p.m.
