Chair Henderson called the meeting to order at 2:12 p.m.

Approval of Minutes

MOTION:    Sen. Jenkins moved to approve the minutes of February 4, 2013. The motion     passed unanimously with Sens. Bramble, Davis, Stephenson, and Valentine absent     for the vote.

S.B. 58    Amendments to Sales and Use Tax (W. Harper)     
Sen. Harper presented and explained this bill.

MOTION:    Sen. Harper moved to replace S.B. 58 with lst Substitute S.B. 58. The motion         passed unanimously with Sens. Bramble, Stephenson, and Valentine absent for         the vote.

Spoke to the bill:    Roger Tew, Utah League of Cities and Towns
            Dan Duel, Liaison, Weber County 9/12 Program
            Bruce Jones, Utah Transit Authority
            Brent Gardner, Utah Association of Counties
            Steve Erickson, Cross Roads Urban Account

MOTION:    Sen. Jenkins moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed with Sen. Stephenson voting in opposition, and Sens. Adams and Davis absent for the vote.
