Chair Van Tassell called the meeting to order at 2:10 p.m. and announced that S.B. 104 will not be heard today.

H.B. 261 Payroll Amendments - Public Safety (R. Greenwood)

Sen. Weiler introduced and explained the bill.

MOTION: Sen. Harper moved to pass H.B. 261 out favorably. The motion passed         unanimously.

H.B. 34 Special Group License Plate Amendments (V. Peterson)

Rep. Peterson introduced and explained the bill.

Spoke in favor of the bill: Tate Christensen, citizen
                 Sen. Weiler
                 Mike Mower, Office of the Governor

Spoke in opposition to the bill: Marina Lowe, ACLU

MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to pass H.B. 34 out favorably. The motion passed with Sen.      Harper voting in opposition.

H.B. 15 2nd Sub. State Park Access Amendments (B. Last)

Rep. Last introduced and explained the bill.



MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to pass H.B. 15 2nd Sub. with a favorable recommendation.      The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 23 High Occupancy Vehicle Lane Amendments (S. Handy)

Rep. Handy introduced and explained the bill.

MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to pass H.B. 23 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 272 Traffic Signal Amendments (M. Kennedy)

Rep. Kennedy introduced and explained the bill.

MOTION: Sen. Dayton moved to pass H.B. 272 out with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:    Sen. Dayton moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously. Chair Van Tassell adjourned the meeting at 2:58 p.m.
