Vice Chair Pitcher called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Dunnigan moved to approve the minutes of the February 4, 2014 meeting.
The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Cox, Rep. Froerer, and Rep. Layton absent for the
vote.
H.B. 76 Insurance Related Revisions (Rep. J. Bird)
This bill was not heard.
H.B. 203 Bail Bond Recovery Licensure Board Amendments (Rep. E. Redd)
Rep. Redd explained the bill to the committee assisted by Jason Chapman of the Bureau of
Criminal Identification.
MOTION: Rep. Duckworth moved to pass H.B. 203 out favorably. The motion passed
unanimously with Rep. Anderson and Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.
S.B. 27 Reauthorization of Massage Therapy Licensure Act (Sen. J. Valentine)
Sen. Valentine explained the bill to the committee.
Spoke for the bill: Ron Findlay, Independent Massage Therapists of Utah
MOTION: Rep. Peterson moved to pass SB 27 out favorably. The motion passed with Rep.
Roberts voting in opposition.
MOTION: Rep. Layton moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
Vice Chair Pitcher adjourned the meeting at 4:38 p.m.
