Chair Edwards called the meeting to order at 2:10 p.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Oda moved to approve the minutes of the February 5, 2014 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Last, Rep. Menlove, and Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.

Vice Chair Cunningham assumed the chair.

S.B. 31    State Agency Reporting Amendments (Sen. A. Osmond) (Rep. R. Edwards)


Rep. Edwards explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Greenwood moved to pass out favorably S.B. 31. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Last and Rep. Menlove absent for the vote.

Chair Edwards resumed the chair.

H.J.R. 3    Joint Resolution Recognizing Sister City Relationship Between Magna, Utah, and Yuzawa, Niigata, Japan (Rep. S. Duckworth)

Rep. Duckworth explained the resolution to the committee assisted by Greg Schulz, West Township Representative at Salt Lake County.


MOTION:    
Rep. Hemingway moved to pass out H.J.R. 3 favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Cunningham absent for the vote.

H.B. 204    Film Incentive Amendments (Rep. F. Gibson)

Rep. Gibson explained the bill to the committee. Ricardo Flores, Utah Film Commission, responded to questions from the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Bird moved to return H.B. 204 to rules for further consideration and placement on the interim study list. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Cunningham absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Oda moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Cunningham absent for the vote.

Chair Edwards adjourned the meeting at 2:40 p.m.
