Chair Oda called the meeting to order at 8:05 a.m.
MOTION: Rep. Layton moved to approve the minutes of the February 21, 2014 meeting.
The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ray, Rep. Seelig, and Rep. Stratton
absent for the vote.
H.B. 305 Safety Belt Law Revisions (Rep. L. Perry)
Rep. Perry explained the bill to the committee.
Spoke against the bill: John Lowrence, attorney, Utah Association for Justice

MOTION: Rep. Greenwood moved to return the bill to the Rules Committee with a
recommendation for interim study. The motion passed unanimously.
H.B. 137 Amendments to Driver License Sanctions for Alcohol or Drug Related
Offenses (Rep. J. Knotwell)
At the request of the sponsor this bill was not considered.
H.B. 276 Disorderly Conduct Amendments (Rep. P. Ray)
At the request of the sponsor this bill was not considered.
MOTION: Rep. Ray moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
