Chair Oda called the meeting to order at 8:15 a.m.

MOTION:    Rep. Ipson moved to approve the minutes of the February 26, 2014 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Grover, Rep. Redd, Rep. Seelig, Rep. Stratton, and Rep. Wheatley absent for the vote.

H.B. 155    Utah Communication Agency Network and Utah 911 Committee Amendments (Rep. B. Dee)

MOTION:    
Rep. Ipson moved to replace H.B. 155 with 1st Sub. H.B. 155. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Redd, Rep. Seelig, and Rep. Wheatley absent for the vote.

Rep. Dee explained the bill to the committee.

H.B. 137    Amendments to Driver License Sanctions for Alcohol or Drug Related Offenses (Rep. J. Knotwell)

MOTION:    Rep. Ray moved to replace H.B. 137 with 1st Sub. H.B. 137. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Greenwood and Rep. Stratton absent for the vote.

Rep. Knotwell explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:    Rep. Ray moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Stratton absent for the vote.

MOTION:    Rep. Ray moved to replace H.B. 157 with 1st Sub. H.B. 157. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ipson and Rep. Stratton absent for the vote.

Rep. Seelig explained the bill to the committee. A handout "HB157S01 Rape Kit Processing Amendments" was distributed to the committee.
