8 General Description:
9 This bill modifies the Designation of State Highways Act by designating the Vietnam
10 Veterans Memorial Highway.
11 Highlighted Provisions:
12 This bill:
13 ▸ designates the existing portions of Interstate 84 located within the state as the
14 Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway; and
15 ▸ requires the Department of Transportation to make the designation of this highway
16 on future state highway maps.

25 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
26 Section 1. Section 72-4-215 is enacted to read:
27 72-4-215. Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway.
28 (1) There is established the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway composed of the
29 existing portions of Interstate 84 located within the state.
30 (2) In addition to other official designations, the Department of Transportation shall
31 designate the portions of the highway identified in Subsection (1) as the Vietnam Veterans
32 Memorial Highway on future state highway maps.
