24 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
25 Section 1. Section 53A-6-114 is enacted to read:
26 53A-6-114. Career and technical education course teaching qualifications.
27 The board shall make rules that allow an educator who is highly qualified to teach
28 English, mathematics, or science eligible to teach a career and technical education course that
29 is part of an approved program described in Section 53A-17a-113, if the career and technical
30 education course is related to the subject area that the educator is highly qualified to teach.
