Chair Peterson called the meeting to order at 4:02 p.m.

MOTION:     Rep. Knotwell moved to approve the minutes of the February 4, 2015 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Anderegg, Rep. Froerer, Rep. Roberts, Rep. Schultz, and Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.

S.B. 22            Fire Code Amendments (Sen. C. Bramble)

Sen. Bramble explained the bill.

MOTION:     Rep. Cox moved to pass S..B. 22 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Anderegg, Rep. Froerer, Rep. Roberts, Rep. Schultz, and Rep. Wilson absent for the vote.

S.B. 24            Department of Financial Institutions Amendments (Sen. C. Bramble)

Sen. Bramble explained the bill.

MOTION:     Rep. Duckworth moved to pass S.B. 24 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Anderegg, Rep. Froerer, Rep. Roberts, and Rep. Schultz, absent for the vote.

H.B. 202         Licensing of Midwives (Rep. C. Moss)

This bill was not heard.

MOTION:     Rep. Knotwell moved to recess for 5 minutes.

H.B. 227         Real Estate Amendments (Rep. G. Froerer)

Rep. Froerer explained the bill assisted by Jonathan Stewart, Director, Division of Real Estate, who distributed a handout, Fact Sheet H.B. 227 1st Sub.

MOTION:     Rep. Pitcher moved to replace H.B. 227 with 1st. Substitute H.B. 227. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:     Rep. Anderegg moved to pass 1st Sub. H.B. 227 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

S.B. 74            Unincorporated Business Entities Related Amendments (Sen. L. Hillyard)

Sen. Hillyard explained the bill assisted by Kathy Berg, Division of Corporations.

MOTION:     Rep. Knotwell moved to pass S.B. 74 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.
