Chair Christensen called the meeting to order at 2:05 p.m.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Cox moved to approve the minutes of Februry 3, 2015. The motion passed with Rep. Oda, Rep. Snow and Rep. Stratton absent for the vote.

 

H.J.R. 3          Joint Resolution Calling for a Convention of the States for the Sole Purpose of Proposing a Countermand Amendment to the United States Constitution (Rep. M. Nelson)


Rep. Nelson explained H.J.R 3 in detail, and provided a handout, "Article Five", to the committee.

MOTION:     Rep. Stratton moved to pass the bill out favorably.


SUBSTITUTE

MOTION:     Rep. Hall moved to place H.J.R. 3 on the next agenda. The motion passed with Rep. Cox, Rep. Greene, Rep. King and Rep. Wheatley voting in opposition.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Greene moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.


Chair Christensen adjourned the meeting at 3:55 p.m.
