Chair Ipson called the meeting to order at 8:03 a.m.

 

H.B. 428         Online Parenting Course for Divorcing Parties (Rep. C. Moss)


Rep. Moss explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:     Rep. Tanner moved to pass H.B. 428 out with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed with Rep. Eliason voting in opposition. Rep. McIff, Rep. Peterson, and Rep. Peterson were absent for the vote.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Ray moved to approve the minutes of the March 4, 2015 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. McIff, Rep. Peterson, and Rep. Roberts absent for the vote.


Chair Ipson relinquished the Chair to Vice Chair Roberts.


 

H.B. 454         Prison Development Amendments (Rep. B. Wilson)


Rep. Wilson explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:     Rep. Ray moved to replace H.B. 454 with 1st Substitute H.B. 454. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Peterson absent for the vote.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Ipson moved to pass 1st Substitute H.B. 454 out with a favorable recommendation. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Peterson absent for the vote.

S.B. 238          Prostitution Amendments (Sen. A. Millner) (Rep. L. Perry)


Sen. Millner explained the bill to the committee.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Romero moved to amend the bill as follows:

MOTION:     Rep. Ipson moved to place S.B. 238 on the consent calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ray absent for the vote.

 

S.B. 134          Game Fowl Fighting - Amendments (Sen. G. Davis)

This bill was not considered.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Ipson moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
