Vice Chair Peterson called the meeting to order at 4:36 p.m.
H.B. 429 Fuel Surcharge Amendments (Rep. E. Redd)
Rep. Redd explained the bill to the committee with the assistance of Dennis Shaw, Cache Auto Booting Service. "Fuel Surcharge Bill HB429" and "R909-19-15 Fuel Surcharge for Non-Consent Police and Non-Consent Non-Police Generated Tows" were distributed to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. Briscoe moved to pass the bill out favorably.
SUBSTITUTE MOTION: Rep. Sagers moved to table the bill. The motion passed with
Rep. Briscoe voting in opposition and Rep. Froerer, Rep. Ivory, and Rep. King absent for the vote.
S.B. 78 School District Property Tax Amendments (Sen. H. Stephenson)
Rep. Lifferth and Sen. Stephenson explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. McKell moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed with
Rep. Briscoe and Rep. King voting in opposition and Rep. Froerer and Rep. Ivory absent for the vote.
1st Sub. S.B. 165 Property Tax Valuation and Assessment Modifications (Sen. C. Bramble)
Sen. Bramble explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. McKell moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed with
Rep. King voting in opposition and Rep. Briscoe, Rep. Froerer, and Rep. Ivory absent for the vote.
H.B. 71 Sales Tax Rebate Amendments (Rep. S. Eliason)

S.B. 192 Sales and Use Tax Revisions (Sen. W. Harper)
This bill was not considered.
MOTION: Rep. McKell moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Briscoe, Rep. Froerer, and Rep. Ivory absent for the vote.
