Vice Chair Anderegg called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.

MOTION:       Rep. DiCaro moved to approve the minutes of the February 20, 2015, meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Fawson, Rep. Moss, and Rep. Anderson absent for the vote.

H.B. 332           Local Transportation Corridor Preservation Fund Amendments (Rep. M. Kennedy)

Rep. Kennedy explained the bill to the committee.

Linda Hull, Utah Department of Transportation

MOTION:       Rep. Christofferson moved to pass H.B. 332 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Fawson absent for the vote.

MOTION:       Rep. Lifferth moved to place H.B. 332 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Fawson absent for the vote.

1st Sub. S.B. 23             State Highway System Amendments (Sen. K. Van Tassell) (Rep. Johnny Anderson)

Sen. VanTassell explained the bill to the committee and provided a handout, "Addition to State Highway System".

MOTION:       Rep. Westwood moved to pass 1st Substitute S.B. 23 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Fawson absent for the vote.

MOTION:       Rep. Cunningham move to place 1st Substitute S.B. 23 on the Consent Calendar.

Sen. VanTassell opposed the motion. Rep. Cunningham withdrew the motion.

MOTION:       Rep. Anderson moved to recess for 10 minutes. The motion passed unanimously.

Vice Chair Anderegg reconvened the meeting at 8:51 a.m.

S.B. 146            Driving Privilege Amendments (Sen. A. Millner) (Rep. L. Perry)

Sen. Millner explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:       Rep. Westwood moved to pass S.B. 146 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

S.B. 156            Energy Efficient Vehicle Tax Credit for Motorcycles (Sen. M. Dayton) (Rep. K. Grover)

Rep. Grover explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:       Rep. King moved to pass S.B. 156 out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. Lifferth voting in opposition.

MOTION:       Rep. Cunningham moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.

Vice Chair Anderegg adjourned the meeting at 9:13 a.m.
