Vice Chair Anderegg called the meeting to order at 8:31 a.m.

MOTION:       Rep. Westwood moved to approve the minutes of the February 27, 2015, meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Barlow, Rep. Cunningham, Rep. Fawson, and Rep. Moss absent for the vote.

H.B. 359           Driver Training Revisions (Rep. R. Spendlove)

Rep. Spendlove explained the bill to the committee with the assistance of Mariann Wilkinson,

A-1 Driving School.

MOTION:       Rep. Lifferth moved to return H.B. 359 to Rules Committee for interim study. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Fawson and Rep. Moss absent for the vote.

H.B. 370           Accident Claim Subrogation (Rep. Johnny Anderson)

Rep. Anderson explained the bill to the committee with the assistance of Cliff Strachan, Governor's Office of Management and Budget.

MOTION:       Rep. Christofferson moved to pass H.B. 370 out favorably. The motion failed with Rep. Barlow, Rep. Cox, Rep. Cunningham, Rep. DiCaro, Rep. King, and Rep Westwood voting in opposition.

H.B. 407           Scenic Byway Amendments (Rep. M. Noel)

Rep. Noel explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:       Rep. Cunningham moved to replace H.B. 407 with 1st Substitute H.B. 407. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:       Rep. Cunningham moved to pass 1st Substitute H.B. 407 out favorably. The motion passed with Rep. DiCaro, Rep. King, Rep. Moss, and Rep. Westwood voting in opposition.

S.C.R. 8            Concurrent Resolution Regarding Transportation for Persons with Disabilities (Sen. K. Mayne) (Rep. B. Dee)

Sen. Mayne explained the bill to the committee with the assistance of Christy Achziger, Utah Transit Authority.

MOTION:       Rep. Cunningham moved to pass S.C.R. 8 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:       Rep. Lifferth moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously.
