9 General Description:
10 This joint resolution of the Legislature approves the reappointment of John Schaff as
11 the Legislative Auditor General.
12 Highlighted Provisions:
13 This joint resolution:
14 ▸ approves the reappointment of John Schaff as Legislative Auditor General for a
15 six-year term.

19 Be it resolved by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
20 WHEREAS, pursuant to Utah Code Ann. Section 36-12-7, (1953), the Legislative
21 Management Committee has recommended the reappointment of Mr. John Schaff as
22 Legislative Auditor General for the Utah Legislature; and
23 WHEREAS, the reappointment of Mr. John Schaff in this position for a term of office
24 of six years beginning November 9, 2016, is subject to further approval of a majority vote of
25 both the House of Representatives and the Senate:
26 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Legislature of the state of Utah that
27 the reappointment of Mr. John Schaff as Legislative Auditor General for the Utah Legislature
28 be approved for a six-year term of office beginning November 9, 2016.
