8 General Description:
9 This House Rules resolution amends provisions related to standing committees.
10 Highlighted Provisions:
11 This resolution:
12 ▸ changes the name of the Public Utilities and Technology Standing Committee to be
13 the Public Utilities, Energy, and Technology Standing Committee.

20 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the state of Utah:
21 Section 1. HR3-2-201 is amended to read:
22 HR3-2-201. Standing committees -- Creation.
23 (1) There are created the following standing committees:
24 (a) Business and Labor;
25 (b) Economic Development and Workforce Services;
26 (c) Education;
27 (d) Government Operations;
28 (e) Health and Human Services;
29 (f) House Rules;
30 (g) Judiciary;
31 (h) Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice;
32 (i) Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment;
33 (j) Political Subdivisions;
34 (k) Public Utilities, Energy, and Technology;
35 (l) Revenue and Taxation; and
36 (m) Transportation.
37 (2) The members of the Retirement and Independent Entities Committee created in
38 Utah Code Section 63E-1-201 comprise a House standing committee.
