8 General Description:
9 This bill amends the Medicaid populations required to be included in certain requests
10 for proposals.
11 Highlighted Provisions:
12 This bill:
13 ▸ amends the Medicaid populations that the Department of Health must include in a
14 request for proposals for Medicaid vision services; and
15 ▸ makes technical changes.

24 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
25 Section 1. Section 26-18-19 is amended to read:
26 26-18-19. Medicaid vision services -- Request for proposals.
27 The department may select one or more contractors, in accordance with Title 63G,
28 Chapter 6a, Utah Procurement Code, to provide vision services to [
29 populations that are eligible for vision services, as described in department rules, without
30 restricting provider participation, and within existing appropriations from the Legislature.
