Vice Chair Knotwell called the meeting to order at 4:06 p.m.
MOTION: Rep. Peterson moved to approve the minutes of the February 8, 2016 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dunnigan, Rep. Owens, and Rep. Stanard absent for the vote.
H.B. 255 Condominium Ownership Act Amendments (Rep. M. Schultz)
Rep. Schultz explained the bill assisted by Chris Gamvroulas, Ivory Homes.

MOTION: Rep. Roberts moved to amend H.B. 255 as follows:
1. Page 7, Lines 206 through 210:
206 (2) An association of unit owners shall, according to each unit owner's respective
207percentage or fractional undivided interests in the common areas and facilities[.]:
208 (a) distribute the property's common profits among the unit owners;
209 (b) except as otherwise provided in the declaration for unconstructed units, assess the unit owners the property's common expenses; and
210 (c) make voting rights available to the unit owners.
The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dunnigan absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Webb moved to pass out favorably H.B. 255. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dunnigan absent for the vote.
S.C.R. 1 Concurrent Resolution Encouraging Universal Metering of Water Systems (Sen. S. Jenkins)
Sen. Jenkins explained the resolution to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. Duckworth moved to pass out favorably S.C.R. 1. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Dunnigan absent for the vote.
H.B. 44 Occupational and Professional Licensure Review Committee Amendments (Rep. J. Stanard)
Rep. Stanard explained the bill.
