Rep. Romero distributed a handout, "HB 188: The Case For Paid Parental Leave," and explained the bill assisted by Stephanie Pitcher, Utah Women's Coalition, and Melissa Ridgeway Kraft, adoptive parent.
MOTION: Rep. Wilson moved to hold H.B. 188 for Interim study. The motion passed with Rep. King voting in opposition.
