H.B. 52 Office of Outdoor Recreation Amendments (P. Arent)
Rep. Arent, assisted by Brad Petersen, former Director, Office of Outdoor Recreation, explained the bill. The handout, "H.B. 52 Utah Recreation Infrastructure Development Fund," was distributed to the committee.

MOTION: Rep. Wheatley moved to pass the bill out favorably.
SUBSTITUTE MOTION: Rep. Sandall moved to hold the bill. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Hawkes, Rep. Last, Rep. Oda, and Rep. Spendlove absent.
H.B. 172 Public Assistance Benefits Amendments (A. Romero)
Rep. Romero, assisted by Gina Cornia, Utahns Against Hunger, explained the bill. The handouts, "Drug Testing of TANF Recipients - Three Year Summary" and "HB 172 Public Assistance Benefits Amendments" were distributed to the committee.
