H.B. 252 Intellectual Disability Terminology Amendments (Rep. P. Ray)
Rep. Ray explained the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. Ward moved to pass H.B. 252 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Chavez-Houck, Rep. Thurston, and Rep. Spendlove absent for the vote.

H.B. 18 Medicaid Preferred Drug List Amendments (Rep. R. Ward)
Rep. Ward explained H.B. 18 to the committee.
MOTION: Rep. Redd moved to replace H.B. 18 with 1st Substitute H.B.18. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Chavez-Houck and Rep. Spendlove absent for the vote.

H.B. 221 Immunization of Students Amendments (Rep. C. Moss)
Rep. Moss explained H.B. 221 to the committee with the assistance of Dr. Bill Cosgrove.

204from immunization. } (d) For a student who renews an exemption at a new school, the new school shall confirm with the student's previous school that the student has an exemption from immunization.
205 (5) A student who has an immunization exemption for a personal or religious belief for
206the 2016-2017 school year or earlier:
207 (a) is not required to obtain a new immunization exemption form from a local health
208department; and
209 (b) shall renew the exemption { each year } if the student attends a new school, as described in Subsection (4).

H.B. 308 Disease Prevention and Substance Abuse Reduction Amendments (Rep. S. Eliason)
Rep . Eliason explained H.B. 308 to the committee with the assistance of Dr. Robert Rolfs, Deputy Director, Utah Department of Health. Handouts were provided.
MOTION: Rep. Hall moved to pass H.B. 308 out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ray and Rep. Thurston absent for the vote.
MOTION: Rep. Brown moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ray and Rep. Thurston absent for the vote.
