Chair Ipson called the meeting to order at 8:04 a.m.

 

H.B. 404         Crime Victim Restitution Amendments (Rep. B. Wilson)


Rep. Wilson explained the bill to the committee.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Peterson moved to replace H.B. 404 with 1st Substitute H.B. 404. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ray and Rep. Romero absent for the vote.

MOTION:     Rep. Peterson moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously. The motion passed with Rep. Ray and Rep. Romero absent for the vote.

 

S.C.R. 11        Concurrent Resolution Urging the Rescheduling of Marijuana (Sen. B. Shiozawa) (Rep. B. Daw)


Sen. Shiozawa explained the resolution to the committee.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Daw moved to pass the resolution out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

 

S.B. 106          Assault Offense Amendments (Sen. B. Shiozawa) (Rep. P. Ray)

                                    

Sen Shiozawa explained the bill to the committee.


Chair Ipson declared a conflict. Rep. Ray declared a conflict.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Ray moved to amend the bill as follows:

                       Rep. Redd, Rep. Romero, Rep. Roberts, and Chair Ipson voting in opposition.                        Rep. Daw, Rep. Peterson, Rep. Ray and Rep. Tanner were absent for the vote.

 

SUBSTITUTE

MOTION:     Rep. Ray moved to return the bill to the Rules Committee. The motion passed with Rep. Romero voting in opposition. Rep. Daw was absent for the vote.

 

MOTION:     Rep. Eliason moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Daw absent for the vote.
