Vice Chair Roberts called the meeting to order at 8:10 a.m

H.B. 427         Private Security Amendments (Rep. L. Perry)

Rep. Perry explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:     Chair Ipson moved to return H.B. 427 to the Rules Committee for Interim Study. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Redd and Rep. Tanner absent for the vote.

H.B. 458         Criminal Code Format Amendments (Rep. S. Hollins)

Rep. Hollins explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke to the bill:         Paul Boyden, Statewide Prosecutors Association

MOTION:     Rep. Daw moved to replace H.B. 458 with 1st Substitute H.B. 458. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Redd and Rep. Tanner absent for the vote.

MOTION:     Chair Ipson moved to pass the bill out favorably as substituted. The motion passed unanimously wit Rep. Redd and Rep. Tanner absent for the vote.

MOTION:     Rep. Romero moved to place the bill on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Redd and Rep. Tanner absent for the vote.

MOTION:     Rep. Daw moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Redd and Rep. Tanner absent for the vote.

Vice Chair Roberts adjourned the meeting at 8:56 a.m.
