Vice Chair Webb called the meeting to order at 4:18 p.m.

MOTION:       Rep. Webb moved to approve the minutes of the February 29, 2016, meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 414           Zoning Amendments (Rep. L. Christensen)

Rep. Christensen explained the bill to the committee.

Spoke against the bill:                 Jodi Hoffman, Utah League of Cities and Towns

                                                    Lincoln Shurtz, Utah Association of Counties

                                                    Will Summerkorn, Utah American Planning Association

MOTION:       Rep. Ipson moved to replace H.B. 414 with 1st Substitute H.B. 414. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:       Rep. Thurston moved to hold 1st Substitute H.B. 414. The motion passed with Rep. Pitcher voting in opposition. Rep. Anderson was absent for the vote.

MOTION:       Rep. Pitcher moved to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Anderson absent for the vote.

Vice Chair Powell adjourned the meeting at 5:24 p.m.
