Vice Chair Ivory called the meeting to order at 8:39 a.m.

MOTION:     Rep. Hemmingway moved to approved the minutes of the February 22, 2016 meeting. The motion passed unanimously, with Rep. Ivory and Rep. Stratton absent for the vote.

HB0341          Interlocal Cooperation Act Amendments (Rep. M. Nelson)

At the request of the sponsor the bill was not considered.

SCR010          Communications Spectrum Translator System Concurrent Resolution

(Sen. R. Okerlund) (Rep. K. McIff)

Sen. Okerlund explained the Resolution to the committee with the assistance of Dale Zabriskie, Past President, Utah Broadcasters Association.

MOTION:     Rep. Arent moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:     Rep. Christofferson moved to place the resolution on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously.

MOTION:     Rep. Christofferson moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.

Vice Chair Handy adjourned the meeting at 8:51 a.m.
