Vice Chair Peterson called the meeting to order at 2:09 p.m.

MOTION:     Rep. Cunningham moved to approve the minutes of the January 29, 2016 meeting. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Briscoe, Rep. Froerer, Rep. Hutchings, Rep. King, and Rep. McCay absent for the vote.

H.B. 183         County Option Sales and Use Tax for Highways and Public Transit Amendments (Rep. J. Draxler)

Rep. Draxler explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:     Rep. Cunningham moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Hutchings absent for the vote.

H.B. 212         Tourism Tax Advisory Board Amendments (Rep. D. Sagers)

MOTION:     Rep. Sagers moved to hold the bill. The motion passed unanimously.

H.B. 208         Tax Issues Amendments (Rep. S. Eliason)

Rep. Eliason explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:     Rep. Hutchings moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ivory and Rep. Sagers absent for the vote.

MOTION:     Rep. Hutchings moved to place H.B. 208 on the Consent Calendar. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ivory and Rep. Sagers absent for the vote.

S.B. 37            Human Resource Management Rate Committee (Sen. T. Weiler)

Sen. Weiler explained the bill to the committee.

MOTION:     Rep. Cunningham moved to pass the bill out favorably. The motion passed unanimously with Rep. Ivory and Rep. Sagers absent for the vote.
